Under The Great Shady Tree
The stillness and connectivity that clearing brings leaves us in the open field of all potential. The same place was spoken of by the mystics 'Beyond right and wrong there is a field, I'll meet you there.' In the middle of this field grew The Great Shady Tree. This is an album about letting go of individual drama and returning to oneness through energy clearing. Brilliantly, one song is called Is this it? The next is called 'This is it'...some acceptance had obviously taken place in between. One song is called Peace Manifesto and consists of a wish list inspired by the realization that we are creating our reality so it is well worth getting clarity about what we really want. There is also a song Frank that he wrote for me following an energy work mission. I was at the launch last night and two comments I heard were 'that is so beautiful' and 'really entertaining'. I myself was too blown away by the accolade to form an opinion on the concert in any objective way. At one stage there were 30 musicians and singers on stage and there was really funky music, peter gabriel-esque production and haunting melodies. Highly recommend the CD, as a soundtrack and useful tool that brings the vocabularies of ordinary life and clearing work together. This feels like a very creative time for everyone and a chance at very authentic expression.

Making Decisions
I saw an ISPCA (Incredible Source of Protection and Care for Animals...or something like that!)poster for a Borneo Challenge to raise money. Borneo is a place I've only heard mentioned in Ian Dury and the Block Heads' song 'Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick'. I had the feeling it was a long way away and would therefore be a place where both animals and environment may need attention. Sure enough, I found out that their rain forest is cut down at the rate of the area of three football pitches, a day. Brilliant Bill Bailey wrote to support my plans to raise money and confirmed that his favourite animal, the golden backed orangutan, was based there and they were at risk of extinction within ten years.
The first week I started booking a hotel and asking for donations for an auction and insurance to do this, I kept meeting resistance. I thought every night of giving up but I'd awake every morning convinced I could do one or two more attempts. It was an exhausting indecision, polarizing from enthusiasm to despondency. Then I remembered how to make decisions: ask, 'is this action in alignment with the journey of my soul?' If it is, commit yourself. It was so straightforward then. It didn't matter if I raised 40 cent this year, €400 next year and €40,000 the next. Doing something for the animal welfare was an important expression of my feelings. It was a project and charity in keeping with oneness... and also my secret certainty that animals are on a higher frequency than humans and hold many of our emotions for us! I am a last resort healer for many a loved animal and the SPCAs are a last resort rescue for many a neglected one! An epic €1000 euro was raised at the table quiz. It was a fantastic night, people enjoyed it so much they were still sitting around at two in the morning. For every thing auctioned, a bag of feed or a voucher also went to the KSPCA for their rehoming programme. I had to MC which was a learning curve. But I am really thankful to the Conscious Community, Discovery Park and Vegetarian Society friends for spreading the word and coming and also to Ivan Kelly for hosting and scoring and Alan Keiskin for coming up with the classic questions and tunes.
I learnt that all that is needed is commitment with no attachment to the outcome. We can create a wave of wealth, love and time for anything and anyone we set outselves to. I will do another collection on Friday 4th in Kilkenny, riding my horse and with Susi and her trusty hound. Don't forget to come to energy clearing out at Harmony Hall one day. Someone said yesterday, 'my life just pans out as I even turn up the road to this place. Its a sort of peace, no more questions for a time' Just maybe its the geometry!

Awareness of Harmony
I have a good feeling that this winter is going to be all about music, epic pieces worked on alone, duets for piano and voice and free-for-alls where any instrument or words that come to hand will be enough to bring a get together to rhythmic life. My rhythm until today has been syncopated; yes yes oh, go go whoops. Today I aligned that skipped beat, I realized it was doubt and replaced it with unwavering faith. This is the amazing thing about knowing that the world and all its goings on is one energetic fluid mass. Its the grand piano of experience; all the instruments of the orchestra in one. This means that all we have to do is listen to the frequency and tone we are making. Given attention, we can hear very well the notes come into harmony. Awareness is a gift everyone can give themselves.

Effortless ease is the way
I am in a quiet romantic mood today. Its monday morning and I'm basking in the warm water of the Ormonde Gym. The water muffles any sound and there is room to lie competely still. This is where I come to restore my equilibrium after clearing bookings. Any emotional information I have met falls away. The people are friendly. They have the motto 'Go for it' which resonates whole heartedly with me but sometimes they try and push me. Although I talk about it all the time, people don't realize that effortless ease is the real measure of success...the true sign of health, flexibility and fitness. Like a leaf on a river, we levitated down from the branches, we didn't fight to hold on. We float downstream, carried relatively carefully by mother nature and with all our companions colourfully twinkling around us in an autumnal way. Yes it means we don't have much control but we do have infinite, back to back, moments of opportunity for joy and conscious creation if we choose to. I choose to!
Secret Awareness Party - Sunday 13th December,Harmony Hall,Co.Kilkenny 8-10pm €10
With as much clarity and trust as we can gather, lets emit new mental pictures of harmony and prosperity out into the universe. As this already has a christmas ring to it, I have decided to have a secret awareness party at Harmony Hall. The film, The Secret, gave me the idea if any of you have seen it. It will be a chance to focus on what we want from the micro and personal to the macro and environmental. We can resolve any felt limitations and fears while we're at it, bring great momentum to our hopes and dreams, and of course eat well and prepare to live long and prosper.
